UglierAsp05,

IMHO, buying a laptop for just this Flightsim is bound to frustrate you.
Many who have done so, push their new pc to the limit hoping for 60+ fps with every setting maxed out and end up with maybe 40 fps.
I get 26-30 fps at altitude over large cities with my “elderly” Dell XPS and I’m satisfied.

Hey thanks for reply I’m not really fussy about resolution as long as it is 1080 P I also recently bought a Xbox series s I have never anticipated a game simulator like this

Thats great to read.
I know someone will chime in with more expert advice. Even with it’s faults, its a great sim.
Best of luck with your new pc.
Happy flying.

ACER NITRO 5 15.6" GAMING LAPTOP- INTEL CORE I7 256GB SSD+1TB HDD/ 16GB RAM/ WINDOWS-10-NH.Q3XSA.002 or MSI APACHE GE72 2VR 17.3"GAMING LAPTOP - CORE I7/1TB HDD+256GB SSD/16GB RAM/GTX 1060M/WIN10 - GE72VR6RF-045AU

I’d be worried about heat. Either of those machines will be running “flat out” with Flight Sim.

You might check these… both have better GPUs…

Razer Blade 15 - Intel Core i7-10750H CPU, NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU, as well as 16GB of RAM

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 - AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, 14-inch 1080p display

I currently have an HP Laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Integrated Radeon Graphics card, 12.0 GB of RAM, running Windows 11 64. Can I run any version of MSFS 2020? If so, will it look like ■■■■? I am not looking for 4K quality, but at least 1080p. Thank you in advance for your feedback.
