Is anyone having issues updating on the PC Xbox game pass version? I am running the game and getting no prompt to update, I am still at version 1.12.13.0. I can see the UK content update in the content manager, but it wont download and install due to out of date game version.
I have tried running the Windows Marketplace and seeing if I can update through Downloads and Updates, but I am told I am “good to go” and there are no updates available.
This is probably where the issue is. Until the new launcher thing gets installed by the store the “Checking for Updates” in game will do nothing as far as I know.
Are you sure you’re logged into the store/xbox app with the MS ID that has the GamePass attached? Try logging out of both XBOX and the MS Store and then log in again.
Same issue here. MS Store version. I am also in North America. Maybe it has something to do with the server issues they are having? Or maybe the update is staggered for a North American release later today…
I am logged in with the same account and I can see the game as owned and playable in both the Xbox app and the Microsoft store
Finally got the update to trigger. I had to go to the MS store, MSFS, then click on the 3 dots, and then manage. This triggered the update for the launcher. Launched MSFS, and now it is updating.
Gave this a go, but no luck. I hit Manage and it takes me to the All owned list, but does not prompt an update for MSFS 2020.
I went to MS Store -MSFS - 3 dots - install on my devices and selected PC where MSFS is installed and it started upgrading .
