I don’t know if anyone else are experiencing the same issue. When the avionics first boot up, there is a green “unable RNP” message on MFD. As a result, neither RNAV nor ILS vertical guidance system work. It will lock on and show green on either glide path or glide scope, but it will guide you down to the ground quite far from the runway. This is quite a dealbreaker for me. I can deal with lack of pressurization and other annoyances bur this is core functionality.
It’s a quite inconsistent thing. I have performed landings with working AO and ILS lock.
However, it seems you have to keep speeds quite high in order this to work which is not exactly what I would expect from a PC12. So, safest way as for now, disable AP and fly the thing by yourself on final
Does any here have issues with pressurization? I can see the same on the acreenshot above that the cabin pressure panel has no data on it. In my career flights if i exceed FL100 i am warned and eventually fail sue to no cabin pressure. It doesnt appear to be anyway to activate it.
It’s not too bad once you learned the quirks, I finished 15 missions with it and I found it much better experience than the 208 even with all the issues.
FL180 seems okay maybe also a little higher. I have just switched the oxygen on
If ATC wants you to climb e.g. FL300. Just request manually over the ATC menu a lower altitude and you’re fine. After that you can also cancel IFR,
I was able to fly up to 300 and stayed a bit, the did a fast dive down back to 100 after the warning message. You can also define a lower cruising altitude on EFB so you don’t have to climb high at all.
Got problem with the texture. If you zoom out, all looks fine, if you got closer textures change. For the exhaust effect you need to pan around a little to find the sweet spot.
Platform: PC MS Store, AMD RX 7900XTX, Ultra Setting
Not sure if this ever gets to Carenado but I want my money back. Atrocious effort for a new sim. For start besides of the afore mentioned the plane blows through set cruise altitude every climb. It seems to capture it at first then suddenly it starts to climb again for no reason. Along with all the other missing systems (pressurization, ECS, weather radar) it’s less than half of a plane.
Another issue is switching from NAV to APP many times doesn’t work unless L and R flight director is cycled. Something is very wrong with the AP in general.
We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged
