I’m flying one of the longer medium cargo missions in a PC-12. I looked up the service ceiling of a PC12 it’s 30,000ft. ATC is telling me to go to 45,000. The plane won’t even get there. What am I missing?
I’ve tried to get through several of these long cargo missions and have only been able to complete one due to all the bugs with the sim and various aircraft.
Bugged. No oxygen onboard… You currently can’t flight high…
Missions are known to have several bugs, the PC-12 has one that it doesn’t pressurize, so you can’t fly at higher levels for long due to lack of oxygen.
I managed to work around this bug before entering mission in changing flight level to 19000 and send the plan to ATC and Avionics.
The absurd FL requests that ATC sends happened to me several times in different planes, seems not to be pc-12 exclusively related.
Please vote to get this fixed. I couldn’t find a ticket on this issue. So, I created a new one. I think the moderators were moving this to user / support but it is actually a bug.
I figured it was a bug. I’d say most of the missions are riddled with bugs. I have to take a break from the longer medium cargo missions, I’ve tried at least a dozen with several different aircraft and got through only one of them.
The 208B has a prop speed issue, I can’t put the gear up on the PC24, or send the flight plan to the avionics on the sky courier.
A couple of the PC12 missions were going well when the sim stops and restarts randomly and says a crash happened.
I can’t get over how buggy this is yet was still released.
Other than the big CTDs, I think the biggest bang for their buck in squashing low-hanging bugs are all these little ones that prevent us from enjoying career-mode aircraft. The PC-12 oxygen thing, the DHC-2 fuel thing, the flaps thing on the Bonanza and DHC-2 and others. Seems like it’d be so easy to fix these and make a bunch of people immediately less frustrated.

For sure… there are so many bugs it’s hard to keep track. For instance, I can’t even figure out how to retract the gear on the PC24. It seems like that is a bug too.
The “gear up” “gear down” binding works on every other aircraft with a retractable landing gear but not this one. I can’t even actuate it with the lever in the cockpit. I don’t know whether it’s a bug or if I’m doing something wrong. I can’t imagine something like this would have been missed testing.
