Performance hits?

For reasons I don’t understand, I’m seeing FS2024 performance much much worse than FS2020 (on the same settings). Anybody else seeing this? (128gb RAM, RTX 3090, etc etc)

No, there are only like 12 people playing and not sitting in the queue right now

You should test it with proper functioning servers in the next days. I bet you get the crippled server performance results right now.

Under “Dynamic Settings,” set the FPS to 60 and DLSS on.

Its shocking. You would kinda expect everyone to play all at once. A multi billion company and your servers are from. The 70s. Need to update them. This isnt a century.
Of flight anymore

Please uodate on here when situation is resolved. I was realy looking forward to it

I don’t see DLSS as a setting which is why I’m so lost right now. Works fine in FS2020.

Does the 3090 properly support DLSS? You may have to turn something on in your nVidia settings for DLSS to show up?

As more people start being able to use the system, I’ll bet there’s going to be some graphics card optimization posts popping up.

Same here… 3440x1440 Ultra - 35 fps, 45 with DLSS Quality that looks awful.
7800X3D - 3090 - 2x32 GB DDR5 6000 CL32

I posted before about turning of the Nvidia overclocking in the app. I restored back and was great.

Not sure what happened overnight but performance today is unacceptable. I now have been looking at the loading screen for 30 minutes and nothing happens.

Having a day off and not being able to use the software I have paid for is very frustrating.

Prior to the patch I was pleased to fly and enjoy the quality of the surroundings due to my high/ ultra settings. Now I have to lower stuff and again I still have micro stutters

I have a weird ground stutter now. Not on every flight but especially with clouds around where. Note this is not the usual stutter. It’s rather as if there is a process throttling the FPS, so its as if ever 1 second there is something holding back the FPS and then releasing it where it runs fine and then throttling it again. As soon as I get off the ground over above 200 feet agl. the lag disappears.

It’s a bug:

Mine was until I noticed that the update reset many of my graphics settings. After I fixed that it is normal again.
