Hi, I got it to work. The flight plan is auto loaded so you need to manually drop in the destination airport on to the nav in the plane after you set that up the NAV button does its thing. The issue is more that its doesn’t load the flight plan. without that you can’t use the NAV button, only the heading hold button.

I’m unable to get the NAV button to work also. I agree that you do need to load in the flight plan from the tablet. I was able to get the “send flight plan to avionics” to work properly, but no matter what I tried, the NAV button would not follow my path.

I’ve seen this happen a few times as well. It’s pretty random if it wants to turn on or not. If it doesn’t, I restart the mission, and it works. I’ve done like 15 missions with the pc-24 and it’s happened twice. I always follow the same procedures so I know it’s not something I’m doing.

I’ve found the issue. Once you load the flight plan through the EFB you must press the ACTIVATE button in the MFD. Then the NAV can be activated.

The issue is that the co pilots pfd nav selector is wrong/different. Making sure it says fms makes nav mode work.

Solution: on the copilots side, push the nav selector button until the display says fms. Matching what your pfd says.

I can confirm solution, you need to set COPILOT’s NAV to FMS

BRUH… THANK YOU now if someone finds a fix for the whole panel shutting off thatd be great. or the pressurization failing mission issue

Sometimes this works but not always. It’s a bug.

if you skip Taxi, NAV will not activate, try not skip taxi before takeoff.
Dont know how this bug happen, game have not been fully tested.

I can confirm that skipping taxi made NAV bug out. I had no choice but to skip taxi because it spawned me right next to a tree and I had no way out. It took me about 15 min to figure it out after cycling through everything possible - what @Ghanja007 said above works, I had to look over at the copilot’s side and toggle their NAV to FMS.

Don’t know if it works every time but its working at the moment, currently flying

Pilatus PC-24 Review: Promising but Falls Short of Expectations

I’ve completed a few IFR flights in the Pilatus PC-24, including routes from KVNY to KLAX and KVNY to KSBA. While the aircraft has potential, there are areas where it could be improved to better match the standards of other planes in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

A few Good points:

The aircraft includes several great features, such as the ability to zoom on the map and insert waypoints, holding patterns, etc.
HDG mode and auto throttle are functional and easy to use.
VS mode works as expected, adding to the overall autopilot experience.

The Missing:

The PC-24 doesn’t consistently capture NAV mode or APP mode, which is critical for IFR operations.
A PDF guide or manual for the Honeywell Advanced Cockpit Environment (ACE) system (PFD, MFD, etc.) would be immensely helpful for those unfamiliar with its operation.
The sims Honeywell ACE system doesn’t allow access to the checklist, and other features that should be included for better immersion.
A realistic checklist for the EFB expert mode would enhance the experience for users seeking a deeper challenge.
Overall realism could be improved, as the aircraft currently feels less authentic compared to other planes in the sim that are closer to their real-world counterparts.

Final Thoughts:
While the Pilatus PC-24 has some promising features, it feels incomplete compared to other aircraft in MSFS 2024. If the realism and systems fidelity were improved, it could become a standout addition to the sim. As it stands, it’s slightly disappointing for those hoping for a more authentic and immersive experience.

Would love to hear others’ thoughts—anyone else flown the PC-24 yet?

Wow thank you!

Literally spent like 30 minutes trying to figure this out!

…and failing, I must add.

You need to engage the course line (pink line). You can see that the FMS will capture the course line set by the fms. Set the heading so that I will cross the coursline

I feel like this has been resolved by the EFB update that happened this week.

Confirmed. EFB send to avionics, activate in MFD, then can use nav (if close to course). It’s not a bug, it’s working like the real thing!

Jesus Christ, i’ve been struggling with this for 24 hours and i came across this post, god bless you :vulcan_salute:
