ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

PC24 - engines wont shutdown at the end of a flight. 3 Hours in, landed, worth 40k - had to abandon the mission.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Once - but have only tried once

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Finish flight
  2. Attempt to shutdown manually
  3. Attempt to shutdown using CTL SHFT E

This has happen to me several times in career. I just used the restart short cut and then reused the shut down short cut. I think whats happening to me is tied to the sim rite feature use.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes, every time I try to do the qualifying flight to try to unlock the VIP missions.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I park at the parking spot at the end of the mission as required, go through engine shutdown checklist, and engine fails to shut down. I then cut all electric power and all fuel in a feeble attempt to stop it. Does not help. I then open the engine cover and try to find things to disconnect in the engine.

• I have a TCA Officer combo, which has the default setting of continually trying to start the engines. If I disconnect the devices from the PC, the shutdown will work.

Fixing the controller settings might make a lot of these reports go away.

I had a similar issue with my TCA Airbus and PC12 not shutting down, once I flipped the ENG switches to OFF (which I had not bound to anything) The engine shut down.
