Pilatus PC24 - Engine key bind

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

-On the Pilatus PC 24 the keybind of the engine power on my controller and keyboard don’t activate. I can put max power and min power but i tried to increase the power of the engine, no reaction and when i tried to decrease it went directly on 0%. I put back the “gamepad 2024 transversal” and the “keyboard 2024 transversal” but nothing changes. I took a look if the keybind was the right one and yes but any reaction when i use it. So i went on free flight, i tried the other planes (Pilatus PC12, 737max) and it works.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

-Pilatus PC-24

-Msi Rtx 4090 suprim x 24Go

I love how they somehow broke the PC-24 even more with this update. Nose gear is still locked in place if you spawn in the air in free flight or skip to descent in career mode.

Same thing happening to me, Pilatus Pc24 is one of my favorites and yet with this update is unusable with this problem.
cant increase throttle,
Throttle percentage is always 0%,
i can push all the way with “Next Intent” to TO but with one increase Throttle and it goes back to idle.
No way to fly the plane with this bug.

• Yes, in career and free flight.

• Just start a flight with Pilatus Pc24, from start you cant increase throttle and if increased manually (with mouse) and try to increase with controller, it goes back to idle.

•In any mode, the throttle cannot be effectively controlled by the keyboard or XBOX gamepad, even if the keys are rebound.

•Currently, there is a problem only on PC24. The increase throttle button has no response. After using the full throttle button and pressing the increase throttle button again, the throttle will be reset to zero directly. This bug makes the aircraft completely unplayable.

• yes

• playing on pc, neither keyboard, nor mouse, nor an Xbox controller can operate the throttle. It is possible to force move it with the mouse, but any adjustment (with the mouse wheel, keyboard R/F, controller A/B) will just reset the throttle to 0. Practically making the airplane impossible to fly.

• I upgraded from Standard to Premium Deluxe just to flight this jet. Beyond the pre-existing bugs (oscillating auto-throttle, bad reference airspeeds, avionics, fuel consumption), now with SU2 you introduced a completely INOP throttle, which makes the PC24 totally unflyable…Carenado/Asobo/Microsoft, please fix it ASAP. Thanks.

Don’t worry, we understand you ^^ you have the same problem as all of us. All of us have this problem with the throttle who want to increase with keybinds and who go down immediately when we try to decrease a bit.

• Yes I am having the exact same issue on the PC24 and its my primary career mode aircraft. very frustrating

•same as OP, throttles unresponsive apart from max throttle and idle, if I hit RB+A it will go max throttle, but if I press A again it will go to idle

Same issue here. Tried to start a mission using PC24 and manoeuvering with either full throttle or idle makes it a challenge… :neutral_face:

So annoying, they have broken my go to career aircraft, to be honest apart from the v speeds being copied over from the PC-12 I had no other issues, there is a workaround by using auto throttle on manual, but, out of 5 flights the auto throttle would only engage 3 times.
Looks like I’ll have to buy more CJ4 but the price of those have rocketed

• The key binding for increase throttle seems to work on Cessna 172 however tried the same controller profile for the PC 24 and it still doesn’t activate/ increase throttle.

• the throttle increase and throttle decrease bindings are missing when PC24 is loaded and game in progress(yet visible when in pause or from main menu and control page) also hover the mouse over the throttles always shows. 0%.

We have a similar problem with the 737 Max 8. in this case what doesn’t work is the button assigned to increase the throttle (button A on the xbox controller). decreasing the throttle works as it should (button B). also the keys assigned on the keyboard work normally.

I’m having the same problem. This needs to be addressed in a hurry.

Asobo this is just silly now, have an entire fleet of PC-24 absolutely useless, at-least log the bug for crying out loud!

@moderators Can you tag this as “bug-logged”?. It’s a breaking bug that not only affects the PC-24, but also at least 2 other aircraft in different ways (737 max, ES-30. -you can’t increase throttle with the default keybind (A button)-). Thanks.

Wow. I’ve tried 3 days in a row to do a Career flight and every plane I’ve tried is unplayable. This is nuts.
