You’d think they would fix that

Still broken!

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
•+ Exactly the same as the OP describes for the 787. I’ve tried reloading it, adjusting the camera position, etc, etc and it always reverts to the viewpoint pressed against the cockpit facia. I haven’t tried the 747 yet but it depresses me if this is the same

Hi Asobo, this is still BROKEN!! 10 months now,…..

Yes, have the same issue and I think I filed a bug maybe. Sorta fed up filing as I get criticized for saying something is or is not replicated by me. Anyway, this is definitely an issue. You can get around it by using SHIFT F9 or F10 to get to the IFG or VFR positions.

A related issue is that the VR Toolbar has been changed to take these position moves out.

You can toggle that with ALT + T.

This really makes the 787 unusable unless you do a deep dive into the keyboard settings.

Maybe they took all this out to make the build compatible with some other platform like the PS… we are winding up with the lowest common denominator.

Keep complaining about this! We’re being ignored.

I have been doing a lot of 787 flying as I have taken up VR and there are a number of issues with how the cockpit is represented in VR… but the pilot perspective is the priority. I have had the chance to fly the AP on a number of complex approaches in the SF Bay area and generally is is working well, which is what keeps me on this aircraft. The VNAV is tricky and hard to tell from operator error or unique characteristics of different approaches.
