You need to report that to the creators of the mod, not here. Nothing Microsoft / Asobo can help with.
I bought it from the marketplace. I expect support from where I bought it.
let’s say your pc CPU fails. Do you contact intel/AMD directly or do you go to the dealer who sold it to you?
You read the terms and conditions, that will tell you who is responsible for support.
If you buy sunglasses from a sunglasses kiosk (a small third party vendor) at the mall (a marketplace), and a screw falls out, do you take your sunglasses to mall management? Call mall corporate? Or do you go back to the kiosk and ask them to fix it or replace the sunglasses?
The only reason to go to the MS Marketplace on this is for a refund or to lodge a complaint about the vendor. Go get your money back if you don’t want this fixed. But if you want a working plane, you need to go to the vendor. Indiafoxtecho is easy to get ahold of. I messaged them and they responded quickly.
This aircraft does work for others though. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is a Flight Simulator issue instead of a third party add-on issue. I half expect my add-ons to break on every update.

yeah, that’s why I bought it, saw nice reviews and the developer appears to care after it.
as for addons breaking every update…well the sim itself breaks at every update let alone the addons.
I also have a mooney which I was able to use for less than one week before getting broken in the latest release. I think this was my last purchase of any addon for this sim for a good while…too many issues and I got tired of it.
and who knows what sort of regressions are they preparing for the next release…
FWIW, I have seen this too, but not consistently. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the 3rd party Carbon Livery that I installed because I didn’t notice it happening before then. I was going to remove that livery and see if the problem goes away.
This wasn’t a bug with the Long EZ. The Long EZ worked fine with the pilots where they are supposed to be. This cropped up after an update to MSFS in November if I recall correctly. It was intermittent and the dev couldn’t reproduce it. The new to the Marketplace version 1.1.1 Long EZ has built in pilots with the plane now to get around the Asobo/Microsoft bug. This was available on the other resellers that sell the Long EZ two weeks before it got released to the in sim Marketplace. Even when I first got 1.1.1 there was both the included pilots and the Asobo pilots at first, the pilots were not part of the aircraft package in 1.1.1. And they were even farther out of the plane. But selecting a default aircraft before closing the sim and restarting, then selecting the Long EZ got rid of the extra pilots and they have not come back. It does seem like an Asobo issue, not one with the add on developer. I believe others have reported similar issues with some other aircraft as well, but I can’t back that up with a link to those comments at this point. I can’t recall which forums that was mentioned in.
absolutely right. I’ve been in contact with Indiafoxtecho who is giving an excellent support and I’ve been informed that the fix was pushed some weeks ago.
Users who got the Long Ez from other channels got the update, however, it took quite a bit more to get it delivered through the ingame content manager.
After the update everything is working fine, really enjoying the Long EZ.
