Pimax 12K QLED - The most INSANE VR headset

Half life Alyx is very well optimised for VR though…

What interests me more is where we are currently at with the DFR side of life as I view it as pretty much essential as resolutions rapidly soar like here - I see Pimax are intending on using Nvidia VRSS2.0 but this, at least in the current versions, relies upon forward rendering, MSAA and DX11.

Where are we on seeing similar tech being able to be applied to more modern (and often more demanding, thus in biggest need) games that utilise DX11 or DX12, deferred rendering and temporal antialiasing. Where are we with combining The DFR with ML based sparse infill for a DLSS/DFR hybrid?

Those questions to me are fundamental to the success of this sort of headset, if you can shed any light on them it would be appreciated.

Look forward to seeing this presented at CES, and it’s definitely on my watch list as it ticks pretty much every wishlist I have except for small form factor. Given past form, it’s a definite wait and see approach for now though!
