Got notification on Pimax Crystal startup for new “see through” option but it just says “downloading” with no progress. Waiting hours but no luck. Anyone else getting this?
Yes, I have the same problem.
After turning the headset on, there was a firmware update which took forever, but finished successfully.
After that, I tried the Pimax Play update again, but it still got stuck at 0% download.
So I went ahead and downloaded the newest version and installed it manually. Now I see the “See Through” checkboxes in Pimax Play, but can’t get it to work.
In addition, my headset didn’t connect until I took the battery out, pulled all plugs and waited for a few minutes. Now it does connect, but See Through still doesn’t work

Just discovered that it actually turns on when double tapping the side of the headset.
Looks like night vision goggles from 50 years ago. B/W and extremely grainy. Useless for me.

Headset update went smoothly, but like others, the Pimax Play update was stuck on 0%, so manually downloaded and installed it. Passthrough works, but of no great use to me (I removed the rubber nose light shield, so I can peek under the headset). Nice to have the eye tracking calibration saved properly now though.

Like some others, my update of Pimax Client download was stuck at 0 percent.
Looked at the Pimax Discord and from there I was able to find and download the latest Pimax Client installer.
Not that techy, how do you manually download ( in laymans terms), thanks.

I ended up switching the Pimax Play App to adminitrator privleges and that allowed me to download the update successfully.

Ok, managed to download it in “admin mode” (never needed to do that before).
“See thru” mode is pretty poor, very lo res and grainy.
Was hoping it would be good enough to copy clearances etc but it really isnt.

For handling your notes consider graphic tablet (like Wacom) and OpenKneeboard (working in VR).
The Key to update the Pimax Play this time is the program needs to be run under the Administrator. Otherwise, the program just stuck there.
