Let’s say I’m flying and want to view my desktop or browser window, or ideally pin my browser window like an in-flight iPad since pre-loading PDFs is a giant PITA.
If I’m entered into VR mode with the Quest 2 in-flight, and hit the Oculus home button to pull up the interface, either it doesn’t open at all and I lose the ability to access it until I quit MSFS, or it does but is an absolute unusable lagfest. Further, if I bear it out and manage to slowly pin my browser window, and alt-tab back into the sim, the browser window blinks and the performance is again unbearable.
I’m on a 3080, 5800x w/ 32GB ram. When I used to fly using Virtual Desktop, I could switch back and forth to desktop view no problem.
