Piper PA-28: Missing various cockpit sounds

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Missing various cockpit sounds like (not an exhaustive list):

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: piper-pa-28

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. make sure “Aircraft Miscellaneous” & “Cockpit” sounds are set to max in General\Sound
  2. Make sure Headphone Simulation is disabled
  3. start cold & dark
  4. enter the cockpit
  5. switch on the battery
  6. click on whatever is clickable. You should hear a sound for each action. Most of the interactive switches/levers are not producing any sound

Yes

Sounds are not audible when using my standard sound configuration:

However, if I change the sound device to my TV monitor:

and increase the sound level on the TV significantly, then sounds for the various switches, levers and knobs are audible.

So, the sounds are there, but the levels so low as to be inaudible on my PC unless I boost all MSFS sound using an external “booster” - in this case my TV sound setting.

Note: Changing the “Loudness Limiter” setting to either on or off makes no difference to the lack of sounds in my standard sound configuration.
