Pitch and roll sensitivity curves jumps from neutral to full in an instant

Hello everyone. in the last few days I have found that there is a problem with the sensitivity settings of all the planes I use. When I view sensitivity settings for pitch/roll and move the joystick, no matter how gently I do it, the sensitiity dot moves instantly to maximum. So I can’t even take off because the planes instantly stall. Could this be something I have done? I have tried Windows repair and recently uninstalled and reinstalled the game. So at the moment I have no updates or addons. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try calibrating the joystick in windows.

To calibrate a joystick in Windows 11, use the joy.cpl tool by searching for it in the Start Menu, selecting your device, opening Properties, going to the Settings tab, and clicking Calibrate, then follow the on-screen wizard steps to move axes and press buttons for accurate input mapping

Hi Ashippun5411 and many thanks for your help.

I have used this tool but I can’t see anywhere that you can adjust the centre of travel of the axes.

The real problem though is that the dot that follows the sensitivity curve for the stick yaw in MSFS 2020 moves from zero to maximum in an instant no matter how little or slowly I apply the twist. This function with this joystick works fine in X-Plane 12 and shows a steady path of travel in joy.cpl.

Thanks for trying to help,

Regards,

Trevor.
