Pixelated trees in VR

Anyone else notice that some trees, when viewed from the ground (e.g. while sitting on the runway) can be extremely pixelated, even when viewed from fairly close? Then as you get really close, the pixelatiin disappears. It’s really quite ugly.

I tried to take a screenshot in 2D but they looked fine there. So it seems to be a VR-only problem, or it’s not noticeable in 2D because everything is much smaller. Changing the tree graphics setting doesn’t seem to affect it.

I’m pretty sure it didn’t used to be like this. Is it maybe the result of recent optimizations?

Yes I’ve noticed that as well. I think since SU4. Even on Ultra. Not all trees, but usually the trees closest. My rig: i9-9900K, 32Gb, RTX3090, W11 25H2, Q3 with VD on Godlike.

Strange, I never noticed it in SU4. I wonder whether it’s worth reporting as bug. It really doesn’t look good.
