Brief description of the issue:
Plane gets stuck on taxiway and it cannot move after holding short of a runway. Parking brake is off and using the throttle increases the engines but the plane will not move, even when using the rudder to try and “unstick” the aircraft. This has happened to me twice in different planes, the F18 and the TBM once I’ve stopped to hold short at a runway, entered external camera and looked around for a while. I believe I checked weather METAR and ATC window while holding short also. The only solution is to restart the flight.

This happened for the 2nd time to me at Biggin Hill UK holding short of R21 in an F18. I can’t recall where I was the first time I encountered this issue.

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Start cold and dark at Biggin Hill (UK), request departure from ATC and hold short of assigned runway 21. Enter external view and pan around, check some windows (weather, ATC) and then try to continue on to the runway when takeoff is approved. Try waiting for 5 minutes before requesting takeoff.

I’m sure this is NOT your problem, but in the wild case that it might be, I wanted to let you know that exact thing happened to me and what it was. I would stop short of the runway (flying the Longitude) just as you did and apply thrust, but nothing happened. Turned out I had somehow activated a second pushback request. I don’t know why that was a problem, but it held me in place. Once I deactivated the pushback request, I went on my way.

Like I said, probably not it, but just in case.
