Plane shifts during takeoff

Right when the plane lifts off, it shifts
I have it with most flights. Only take off flaps are set.

Wow, that is one crosswind.

Are you using any rudder during take off? Strong winds?

I use keyboard and I do not do anything special with the rudder.
I use live weather.
Once it occurs, the plane is shifted through the whole flight.
I will try and turn off wind and do the same test.

This looks like you have “takeoff rudder assist” enabled, the sim is helping you maintain runway heading on takeoff, you can turn it off in the “assistance” options menu.

Turning off the assisted rudder removes the issue.

Who wants a Simulator, and uses assisted rudder ???
It’s best never to use any assist.

As you can see from the screenshot, there is still something wrong.
My plane still shifts (less then before) and the plane flies sideways the entire flight.
This camera view should be centered behind the plane.
You can also see the shifted plane on the mini map.
This is with live weather conditions and I understand wind can push your plane sideways… but not the entire flight.
To me this looks like the model just shifts and then it stays like that.
Any idea what’s happening ?

It is crabbing.

Yep, crabbing into the wind. Quite normal if the wind is strong and from the side or partly from the side

It’s completely normal, some wind patterns can extend for hundreds of kilometers so it’s normal if the plane is crabbing into the wind to maintain course
