Description of the issue:
had this issue with a few planes in MSFS 2024. so far its been the Fenix A321, ini A330, ini A21N and the beluga. at crz its all normal but randomly my speed just starts to decrease. anyone know why? ive always been at OPT crz level, ive tried throttles in TOGA and my weights are fine.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Fenix 320 series , ini a330 and A21N so far

heres a video of it happening. it happens slowly but not sur why. (sorry the videos are fast). this was a flight from MNL-HKG in the ini A330-300 RR when i got hit by a weather spike and it started. only difference here was this time i could put my throttles to TOGA and the speed would increase

I have the Same problem with any plane in the sim. It happens randomly and about every 5-10th Flight. Throttle is at 90% and plane gets slower and slower no chance to recover it. It happend with many planes to me now. Fenix A320, ini A330, ini A320N and ini A330N. I think it has to do with the sudden Weather changes of the Live Weather, that sometimes also crash into the Plane so much, that the AP disconnects. I didnt find any solution. I hope Asobo will adress this Bug. It destroys the flight cause you cant do anything until the Plane starts stalling…

Ive figured out that this happens when your live weather turns off without you turning it off. Ive mad a second thread for that issues hoping that someone has a fix. Live Weather Turning Off

Moved to User Support Hub since root cause seems to have been identified.

Root cause has been identified thats right, but its not a user support Topic. Its a bug caused by the Sim or am i wrong. When live Weather suddenly goes off its not User indicated.

Moved back to Bug Reporting Hub .
@AhwaJay: now that you identified the root cause, maybe you could update the title and steps to reproduce to indicate that issue happens when Live Weather is turned off in the background during a flight. Aso could you test if issue also happens when you manually turned off Live Weather during the flight ?

@DementedCorn327 i have tried some short hops now. When you disable Live Weather in flight manually the Planes all go crazy. Overspeed and sudden hight difference by ± 3000 feet. So its basicly not possible to change weather in Flight. On the ground its no Problem. What i also noticed is, that it only happens, when you start on the ground with Live Weather off in the Menu already. When you then turn it on manually on the ground with Cold and Dark, its more likely to happen in Flight, that the Liveweather goes off automatically and the Speed loss is happening. The cause of it is random and i didnt notice any points why it could go off suddenly. I also watched my Internetspeed the whole time and it was stable. When you start with Liveweather activated in the Menu befor starting the Flight it didnt happen to me yet in the Testflights. So maybe there is an connection between that.

I tested 6 Flights now, 3 with Liveweather on from the Mainmenu and 3 with Liveweather activated Manual in the Sim. On the first 3 Flights i could fly and land normally without weather going off. On the last 3 where i manually activated Live Weather i had the Speed loss and automatic live weather deactivation on all flights. So i think its reproducable like this.

Which aircraft did you use for those tests ?, OP mentioned various Airbuses, not sure if it could be plane specific too.

I tried it with A320Neo and A330 with RR Engines and A321Neo. It happened on all 3

One more observation. When Live weather is off when loading into the sim and i activate it on the ground, in the Submenu of the Weather its still off. So there seems to be a inaccurate state between the Live Weather states too
