Our careers mean a lot. Many hours are put into this mode of the game. Please give us control of our profiles instead of blindly relying on your onlne servers to store and keep them safe.
Also, with the many bugs that exist in career mode, unfair penalties and mistakes result in us wanting to revert to a previous state of our career.
You can certainly keep your profile online, but we would like control of this locally as well.
There’s a phrase for that in gaming, and it is by no means aimed at you. It’s called “save scumming”. What you would do is back up your career, undertake a flight that doesn’t work out for any reason, and rather than suffer the ding to your ratings, you opt to revert to a time before the flight, and try again.
If that was because of a sim bug, that’s one thing, but if it were just doing the wrong thing or pilot error, for want of a better description, that’s something else.
Then again, its a single player game so who really cares whether people are save scumming or not. It doesn’t effect anyone else’s enjoyment of the career mode, so why not.
