Help please.
All my saved games are corrupt after the first or second ones I save in a flight, and the game use to crash after 1 or 2 hours of play.
After the game crashes, I don’t have any way to recover my flights, it is impossible to play this game.
The saved games are always corrupt.
Just help please, I spent a good amount of resources building a setup for this game.
Hi there, Did you buy it from steam or ms store? If you purchased it on MS Store, Try this C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\MISSIONS\Custom\CustomFlight
There will be some files there. Delete these:
CUSTOMFLIGHT.FLT & .FSSAVE & .PLN & .SPB

I deleted all customflight files on the folder you tell, but my saved games still crash when I try to load them.
The only saved game that works is the first one I save right after starting the flight (when my plane is on the ground).
I am using DVD MS Store version (I mount the 1st DVD virtually to avoid inserting the first DVD every time I want to play). I also play always with a youtube / twitch video on the secondary screen.
I don’t undeerstand why none of the saved games work, only the first one after initial load.
I see you have a lot of files in your folder…I really don’t know if I can help you. I would say that you might need to delete all your files in that folder. I hope that someone with more knowledge could help you…Sorry I can’t be much help…I hope that you get this problem fixed…
Yeah, all those files are the saved games of my last night flight. I save game often because the game crashes randomly.
The only saved game that works is the first one after the initial load.
Then I manually insert a flight plan on GPS, then I take off, I’m flying for a while, going from a waypoint to another, then game crash after 1 or 2 hours of flight.
All the saved games also crashes when I try to load them.
It is impossible for me to complete a long flight, I can’t go from an airport to another without a crash when I’m flying for more than 2 hours.
I spent >5ks€ on my computer and devices to play this game. AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, nVidia RTX 3080 OC, SSD m.2, huge screens, Thursmaster Warthog + MFG Crosswind v2, etc…
