This route is causing always a CTD for me short after start. I would like to know if this happens for you too and what could cause the problem. Other routes like Athens to Thessaloniki does not crash

Just tried it:
Steam version; loads of stuff in community folder; default Beechcraft; live time (midday) & weather; Realworld traffic and multiplayer both off; FlightAssist autopilot all the way - left it flying itself whilst I did some gardening. Came inside and watched the last minutes to see that it’d got almost all of the way, and, whilst I was watching the AI pilot stuffed it into some trees not far away from the destination. Red-did it at Rimrate*16 for most of the trip and again it was fine.
Basically it ran ok for me.
I really do not understand the sim anymore. This flight works for or for others. So far so good. It crashes for me.
This afternoon I made a flight from Murmanks (northern Russia) to Norway. No problem. After the 5 hour flight, I tried this one again (LIMC Malpensa - LIPZ Tessera VOR to VOR) and again short after flight CTD… ANY FU*** Time… what is wrong here? If there is some fishy data cached, how I can delete it? Rolling cache is not active. It also crashes on other flights the days before… Why one route is working, other one not?
Most odd.
FWIW I have a rolling cache of 32GB though I doubt it ought to make any difference on or off despite what is said. I can offer no suggestions other than maybe trying it in a totally offline mode.
And then report it as a bug on Zendesk if I were you.
hi @trgz I reported it already to zendesk, they asked only for my msinfo details. rolling cache was off, everything was off. I was also in offline mode without anything… it crashed this morning again.
Right now I am installing the MSFS on a different location but not the original one. My first test will be the “broken” flight… Let’s see what will happen. I will report again later
Well unfortunately no luck… Fresh install on a different place / different folder. Right after install I peformed the flight and what happened? CTD again… If you make the plan as shown in my screenshot. Do you also see this weird zick zack near to Venice? Would you have the same too? Navigraph and the rest is deactivated at the moment.
I also see that zig-zag and the elevation profile (in the Navlog) looks odd too (as if it descends to below the height of the hills) - once I’ve launched the flight, the VFR map shows a correct route without the zig-zag
