Please update Nuremberg (Germany) photogrammetry, it's from 2013 and outdated

The photogrammetry used for Nuremberg is outdated. It doesn’t look too bad concerning the buildings but there are two issues:

  • From a few known construction sites (whose progress you can see in the time slider in Google Earth) I can judge that the photos were taken very likely in 2013, so over 11 years ago! Here’s the situation west of Nuremberg main station:

Specifically the rail track in the foreground of above image got a new red bridge with construction starting ~2014. But far more obvious, the large building complex in above image was demolished in 2017 and is an office area for around 3 years now. Google Earth shows how it looked in 2023. Quite a difference, isn’t it?

And there are more places where Nuremberg has changed dramatically since then, the construction site along the “Scharrerstraße” being just one more example.

  • Photogrammetry processing wasn’t that good back then and the ugly pillars which are supposed to be trees and which by default have been hidden beneath oversized evergreen tree models in FS2024 are a testimony to this. Currently it’s not possible to clean up the PG trees without removing many houses melted into the trees, as Bijan had to experience with his “Season Enhanced” addon. A new photogrammetry which doesn’t produce these pillar-like trees would not completely resolve, but certainly ease this situation.
