Thought it would be interesting to take a low level flight up the Panama Canal today, fly under the Centennial Bridge built in 2004 and see all the big cargo ships along the way. All my scenery settings are on ultra using a 4080 GPU so off I go with a trembling finger hovering over the screen shot key. Now I can see why their were no ships transiting one of the most important waterways in the world, Asobo you really do have a lot of work ahead of you eh! So good luck.
Centennial Bridge
Now really isnt a great time since the water level has dropped so much only a couple a day go through. They are all sitting out at sea waiting thier turn
Thank you for the link, unfortunately it’s not suitable for FS24 as it’s crossed out in red. I’ve not yet traveled further north to the Panama Atlantic Bridge. Not much point when Asobo’s AI has built a dam across the Panama Canal instead of a bridge, I’m so dam picky.
No apologies needed you were being helpful @Marklar666, and your right it may still work in FS24. It’s free and I can turn it on & off with Linker to find out if it still works with the Atlantic bridge.
Yes that’s more like it, I just noticed the Americas Bridge is missing at the southern end too. Oh well it is what it is I suppose, I was just surprised at the lack of any basic level of detail and shipping by Asobo. Guess it will be down to 3rd party add-on software to fill the gaps as usual.
Thank you everyone.
It’s just one of the many areas that have been procedurally generated by AI. Asobo would need to release World Update for Panama to make it look better.
