Sunday Shenanigans | #016 | “Plitvice Lakes” | Amphibian
A seemingly gentle flight with a beautiful backdrop, ruined by some challenging short landings? Up for it!? You will need a fairly speedy Sports Ultralight Amphibian for this run.
I will take the Asobo Icon A5 (probably) but some other options would be the great (free) Got Friends Experiment MXA, Ants Drifter, Nardi Riviera, Wilga, Cessna 172 etc.
I think the Kodiak, Goose, Albatross etc would be too fast, and the J3 Cub too slow, so something in between. You could chicken out and bring a Helicopter with floats if you want!

We will be traversing the unique collection of raised lakes at Plitvice, Croatia. A stunning place to see (a bit whack in MSFS buy hey) with some valley weaving before, and some longer cruise legs after. A couple of POI’s to see and a slalom to navigate high up between wind turbines. We will finish by crossing to and across the lovely island of Krk off the west coast and landing at Rijeka airport to finish.

Sunday Shenanigans is a bi-weekly Sunday event hosted by Baracus, where we will have a mixture of different flights, events, themes and challenges each time. The focus will be largely on GLIDERS, but there will be RANDOM FUN EVENTS to spice things up. Sometimes a specific AIRCRAFT will be required so that we are all in the same thing (default or freeware) and sometimes just a suggested TYPE and/or SPEED will be given and you are free to bring what you like.
