Whilst I understand this is a 3rd party aircraft, and I understand that PMDG does not support its use during an SU Beta cycle, I felt it worth noting a significant change in behavior with 1.7.16.0.
I have been flying the 736 for the last few days with zero issues until, today, after updating to 1.7.16.0.
The issue is that after pausing the sim during a flight, I unpaused to find the aircraft so out of control with alarms screaming that I had zero time to recover before experiencing the dreaded “Back on Track”.
Prior to 1.7.16.0, I ha zero issues after unpausing the sim — the aircraft remained in control, and as I left it prior to the pause.
I see the patch notes indicate some changes to aircraft systems, etc., and I’m wondering if these changes have had some effect on how the aircraft is behaving when in a paused state.
The pause of the sim has, often, not really been a pause, as activity continues in the background. I’ve observed throughout the life of the sim (and 2020) that some aircraft (the Blackbird Zero, for example) have issues that arise during the paused state that rear their head once unpaused. Again, I had not seen this with the new 2024 PMDG 737.
I have not, yet, tried to replicate this, however I will give it another try soon.
Anyhow, this behavior change seemed worth noting for the record.
