PMDG 737-800 base model unable to select/use controls

Brief description of the issue:

mouse will not select switches, yoke turned all the way to the left, no controls working when at gate cold and dark

This is only an issue when spawning at gate not on runway. I have reloaded WASM and the entire 737 package without success. Happens at both default and add in airpor
PC specs and peripheral set up:

x box x with wireless mouse, honeycomb alpha xps and bravo throttle

This same issue happened after WASM compilation on first load after installing SU15. Yoke turned to right, all avionics off, and engine fan blades missing when starting at gate. Restarting the flight fixed the issue, and hasn’t happened since.
