I have just brought this aircraft on Xbox and I’m having problems.
I doesn’t let me use the rudder or use my gear/flaps. Not sure what’s happening as I’ve tried spawning on the runway and use the PMDG setup and it still doesn’t work.
I’m also having problems using the pushback feature.
Also, I set up a flight plan before the flight (IFR low altitude airways for example) however do I still need to put the plan into the FMC in order for auto navigation to work?
You need to check your control bindings.
You mean a Flightplan from the Worldmap? Don’t know exactly if the PMDG can access to that Flightplan, so most probably you have to add it manually.
I use Simbrief only and add the plan manually. It’s way faster then the IRS alignment takes place.
I haven’t binded any controls! It’s normally LT and RT to use the rudder on Xbox but it doesn’t work on this aircraft. Just wondering if I’ve set the air tf up properly or not that’s what I need to figure out and seeing if anyone else had had this issue and they’ve had it resolved? Really don’t know what to do at the moment
LT…RT…. You are really trying to use the PMDG with an Xbox controller?
Don‘t know it it will work out. Normally you need an axis to control the rudder.
I have several of the pmdg 737s and none of them have the issues that you are describing. Can you share a picture or video? Are you using xbox controller or something else?
For the rudder doe the rudder moves on external view? Or you are unable to steer on the ground?
In the menu options of the fms you have to select if you have separate controls for the rudder/nosewheel or if they are the same control?
Regarding your flight plan none of the pmdg aircraft will show a flight plan from the FS menu, you have to manually input esxh waypoint.
