I was popping back in here to edit my earlier reply but it seems there might be something in it - a few others have also been able to reproduce it. Odd thing with mine was the windows freezeup and the encoder crash within my streamlabs but others have since done similar with specifically the Google maps bit and had ctds too
Interestingly, I get similar with the world map generally within MSFS before loading in too. If I zoom too quick the sim crashes

I think we have replicated that issue (but only with pretty wild zooming in and out), which will be looked at today.
So is the EFB available for us peasants now?
Yes I did that too. I will try it again later after work and see. Hope there is patch for this soon if it is an issue and I was just lucky.
I have not watched any videos, but Importing weather is not working for me from the Import EFB? Do i still need to download the weather via Simbrief Downloader?
One possibility… If you are running Nvidia 545.84 /.92 drivers – consider cleaning them with DDU and switching back to 537.42.
I’ve found 545 series to be highly unstable with my system and MSFS – causing system freezes while navigating the world map, all the way to CTD’s in-flight, and even one complete system power-off while Taxiing for departure at CYTZ.
Back on 537.42 now, and all is good again.

The main reason why people wished for a tablet solution was so they didn’t have to fiddle with all the aircraft options on that tiny unwieldy CDU.
Now you are telling me that the new tablet can do all the stuff that people already have other tools for, but the very things that would have been a great help to use on the tablet (equipment configuration and sim options, doors, chocks, maintenance, cargo, failures, aircraft state etc.) are not only not implemented yet but also only a “maybe” for future updates? Did I understand that right?
Feels like a practical joke. Where is the camera?

P.S.: ah good, at least the tablet can be turned off completely. That’s a relief. So, that happened. Moving on. 
How do you open a ticket with PMDG?. All runways with heading 360 are pupulated with heading 0 in the performance calculator (landing and take-off) and I’m not able to compute the performance. It does not accept 0 (zero) as heading and no way to change it manually

Interestingly and coincidentally, I’ve had quiet sluggish perf using the Navigraph in game panel with map refreshes especially while scrolling the map. This was observd while using other airliners (787-9, maddog) along with one CTD (not had one in ages). I am on the 545.92 NVidia drivers. Interesting to here you are having instabilities with them.
Has anyone worked out how to reduce the runway length when taking an intersection departure?

This was mentioned in an overnight post on the PMDG forums. The team is going to go back to the coding team and look into making that field editable for intersection takeoffs.
Another question. I just put in 66t takeoff from EDFH (very long runway) and got 50 degree assumed temperature, but no derate. Does the performance calculator ever suggest a derate setting?
You’ll get an N1% setting from the calculator. If you set the info in the plane to match the calculator, the N1% for takeoff will basically be a more precise version of just setting a preset de-rate in the FMC.

Yeah but its true what you say, also I didn’t even know it was paid, I just saw a video from 737NGDriver using it.
I was going to say that we could try calculating it with the original Manuals, but as Boeing requested, PMDG doesn’t include them anymore, (I have the P3D version as well), you might find them online.
So far, no issues on my end w/ Navigraph in the UFT on the 738.
For performance calculations up to now I used the virtualperformancetool which does a great job.
A fully enhanced version is in the pipeline. Compared to this tool the EFB performs quite well with similar results.

Yeah - they just replied back to my ticket early this morning. PMDG staff was able to reproduce the CTD following my steps. I sent them some crash reports and they’re looking into what’s causing it. I think initially they were confused why anyone would be doing the frequent zooming in and out, but I pointed out to them that both yourself and Chewwy managed to have the same issue on your streams so there is probably a high likelihood that as more folks play with it, this problem will become more obvious.
Researching the problem, I was able to duplicate it within 10 clicks, so it’s not always about rage zooming in and out hahaha. I’ll be happy to see them resolve it either way.
I don’t have Navigraph…and the new EFB without Navigraph is like a beta performance tool…i don’t know if is really important suscribe to Navigraph …i have a real world charts provider…but EFB seems a Navigraph tool instead PMDG tool.
