PMDG B777 Hoppie and Vatsim

Good day!

After the latest update of PMDGs 777 the hoppie code isn´t accepted anymore. Does anyone know why?

Maybe expired?

Strange, if you keep seeing this, would you be so kind as to contact our support so we can look into this? → support.pmdg.com

What is Hoppie, and what is it used for? Thanks!

Hoppie is specifically useful for those who fly on IVAO or VATSIM.
Is a service that provides a network for CPDLC (Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications) which allows pilots and air traffic controllers to communicate via text-based messages rather than voice.

Please do NOT insert a Hoppie account login if you do not plan to use online ATC via VATSIM or IVAO network. Even dormant accounts will tax the network.

Hoppie even works (via PMDG’s own servers) if you don’t use VATSIM or IVAO.

I need a list of actual controllers/ airspaces who use this

There is no list of that. When you logon to a station just ask if they can do CPDLC. It totally depends on the controller, if I am correct. You will find more active stations in Europe than any other continent.
