Quite worrying for sure on what the future of the sim on Xbox will look like or if they are just going to say “sorry, nothing we can do” and we are stuck with a base sim. Not to bash the base sim but I think we are all expecting new and better aircraft. It’s not looking good but the lack of communication also means that maybe one day a solution could just randomly appear.

I’m pretty new to the game though a 100 hours are now made
I’m in total love with the sim but now I’d like to get the hands on something more on the study level side (I’d die for the a320nx) regarding bigger planes (the cessna 172 and other nxi garmin planes works like a wonder)
I’m a bit confused and scared reading about this plane and fixes far away for people who bought the plane; adding to this the crj announcement on the xbox, no real safe purchases on marketplace (doing some research here and on reddit on planes available on xbox i got a picture of unreliability basically on the vast majority of them)
i really hope most of the issues on avionics (like no constraints on a320 which is driving me nuts) and planes comes from a young porting to xbox and get fixed soon

I stopped my flightsimming hobby after so many years because of this and other big disappointments with this plattform. Im angry and sad.

To be honest I also stopped simming because of issues with MSFS and published aircrafts for Xbox.
And it is painful because I really like flying.
I also stopped the simulation until he will hand over the DC6 for the Xbox

I highly doubt it’ll end badly. Even PMDG has reaffirmed that the 737, 777 etc. will be coming to Xbox after this DC6 bug

Well no, the point is the DC6 has highlighted a previously unknown issue with the enclosed Xbox testing environment compared to the public-facing environment and they need to isolate the actual cause. I believe the issue is endemic to the Xbox platform, so, requires xbox software engineers to try and resolve it with Asobo and PMDG.
At least, that is my interpretation.
When it comes back to Xbox marketplace?
When Microsoft find a solution why the aircraft isn’t working. They said it can take months.

The issue has been there since the Just Flight Arrows were submitted to Asobo for approval 7 or 8 months ago. They are on the PC marketplace now, but still not on the Xbox. It’s the same issues regarding custom coding etc. They’ve known about it for months. It isn’t likely to be fixed anytime soon, if at all, in my view.

Pretty sure if it was never to work, it would’ve been already announced.
Just started playing again after a long time, but this time on Xbox. I stopped before of the quality issues plaguing all the updates and my pc is not the best.
Seems like there’s still quality issues and I’ll have problems anywhere I go. Quite sad
At this point im really sad with the current state of the sim on xbox. With the last update from pmdg about the 737 i seen a comment where rob said that the release of the 737 for xbox is far away. Now, we are not getting any study level aircraft at the moment because the current problems with the xbox os. When is this going to get fixed? I just want to fly a study level aircraft for the first time, and thats the reason why i get the series S, because the coming aircrafts to the sim. Sadly i dont have the budget to get a pc.
I hope all this problems preventing study level aircrafts to land in xbox get fixed this year.

Don‘t interpret this wrong, please. It has been known from the beginning that PMDG would release their addons to marketplace (generally) MONTHS after website release. They do this because of their ability to easily update and fix issues that are going to come up after release. Only once the addon is considered „stable“ hence no more updates required it will be released to marketplace and so to xbox. It was the same with the DC6 and it will be the same with each and every addon they will build.

At this point I’d just like a refund. Money spent and I can’t even look at it.

Correct me if wrong, I thought people already got their refunds from MS?
They removed it from marketplace and proposed refund. Sad story I think.
You can look at it. You can even take off in it and fly. It’s just that the controls aren’t clickable and the instruments don’t work
