Thrustmaster Airbus Edition Throttles are completely erratic and won’t stabilize using any of the axis settings in Flight Simulator when flying the PMDG DC-6B. Anyone else having throttles issues with this aircraft.
Yes I have the same issue. PMDG suggest unnistall FSUIPC. I do it with the same results: nothing.
I can work just with the keyboard: F2;F3 and F4.
???
I tried it using the Automated Flight Engineer and it works great for takeoff, but everything is done automatically including power reductions, gear retraction, and flap retraction. Then you have to go to the tablet and request power changes from the F/E. This is totally stupid. No other airplane in the MSFS requires such a stupid procedure. I just want to manually work the throttles for takeoff, clime, cruise, approach, and landing. However, they work very erratically if you don’t let the AFE handle the power settings. This take the fun out of flying this aircraft. I hope PMDG rectifies this in future updates.
I changed the throttle axis as recommended by the PMDG Support Team and the throttles work great. This is my favorite aircraft to fly in the MSFS program. It is so realistic! Thanks for creating a wonderful product PMDG.
Can you share you r solution please? I am having exactly the same issue.
Thanks
I am using the Thrustmaster Airbus Throttle Quadrant. Under “Options” I have the throttle bindings set as follows:
• Joystick L – Axis X set to Throttle 1Axis (0 TO 100%)
• Joystick L – Axis Y set to Throttle 2 Axis (0 To 100%)
Under “Sensitivity” the neutral zone is set at 50%.
Using this setting everything works great!
