When it is gonna hit the marketplace?

If it hits the Marketplace, it won’t be for months. Probably at least 6.
The price tag is actually a PMDG tradition. For airplanes currently in production, it’s usually the sticker price of the plane.
I’m sure their servers will hold up. They’ve been through this before…

Fine, I am not questioning his skils, and dont get me wrong he seems like a nice guy…But that stream was not for me, for the reasons I have said. Also punching in the route to the FMC and letting the plane fly is what Airliner Pilots do in real life…and that’s what you simulate when flying an airliner.
There is no badge of honour for hand flying your 787 for 15 hours whilst navigating with the stars in real unless it is an emergency. The thing that MAY make it boring in a sim is you are not getting paid, there is no danger to life, no real ATC even on Vatsim…so what if you ignore requests or get things wrong.. Half the planning and checks are just not needed..

Wow why? What’s wrong with marketplace in terms of business? Cut from MS ?
Quite simply, PMDG isn’t in any hurry to release the aircraft on the marketplace. It isn’t an obligation, after all.
well, it’s simple as that… providing patches via the market place needs a process that takes time while the patch is already done and good for release, so everyone that bought it out of the market place will have to wait until mirosoft has approved that patch and put it to the market place since it’s a contract issue…
if releasing patches out of the market place would be provided faster, no one would buy from the market place afraid of waiting for days and days to get that needed patch, uh !?
and especially when a new product is being released, there might be the need to release fixes AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE.
Airline pilots received training in GA aircraft to gain real flying skills and know the plane inside out though.
But yeah luckily there’s something for everyone.

yeah obviously…but that does not mean they fly Airliners like GA

That’s actually an interesting question. They’ve done major launches before, of airplanes that appealed to a much wider range of buyers - think 737 or 747.
On the other hand, those were pointed at a smaller customer base - FSX (and prior versions back to FS95) and P3D.
So… a niche airplane for a bigger marketplace.
Wonder how that’ll test out.
I guess we’ll see soon enough.
