Hello All,
MSFS is freezing every single time I try to enter the flight plan to the FMC (when I click on “request flight plan”).
I have tried everything I can think of that may be causing this to no avail. I still get the “freeze” every single time.
Any clues / solutions are much appreciated.

If you believe this to be a bug, would you be so kind as to send this as a ticket to support.pmdg.com so we can look at it? Please describe the issue as clearly as possible with screenshots where needed.

Same thing happens to me on multi leg/turnaround flights. In my case it works on the 1st flight, but freezes on 2nd or 3rd. It started happening after the last update. Before that update I could easily do 4-5 flights without restarting the sim. I am on Xbox btw.
It is vitally important for us to have as many detailed reports of these events as possible because these WASM issues are super hard to track down. They can occur in a seemingly random fashion after the SU15 release and are almost impossible to recreate. The more reports we have, the better we know where to look and what to discuss with Asobo. We also discuss these issues with other development teams that are facing similar issues.
Every issue we can replicate can be fixed.

Hi Mathijs,
Not really sure how to do this on your page.
On one hand your page says my e-mail is not recognized (which is the one I used to purchase your software - I have the receipt) - not really sure how to deal with this.
If you shed some light, I can send you details (not much to say other than what i said above - FMC freezes wnen you need to load flightplan).

The more detail you give even if it seems irrelevant the more chance PMDG will be able to act on it.
If you list all the steps you take up to the freeze or even better make a quick video that’s the best way. You could also screenshot the FMC the moment before the freeze and say which exact button caused the freeze.
Also list addons in use or test without any addons in community folder except the 737.
In my case it always happens after the first flight (sometimes on the 2nd, sometimes 3rd flight) when I do multi leg flights (ie. do not restart the sim).
On the first flight I start the aircraft from cold and dark, according to the checklist, load the flight plan into the EFB and then into the FMC.
Then, after landing, I do the after landing checklist (reset trim, flaps to 0, turn off the pitot heat, turn off xpdr, start the APU, clean MCDU and turn off flight directors, engines shut down, seatbelt off, and then connect the GPU if needed…)
When I want to start another flight I do a quick IRS align, type in my departure airport in the FMC / POS page, copy the GPS position, request flight plan in the EFB and as soon as I hit the ‘flt plan request’ button in the FMC, the aircraft freezes and I have to restart the sim.
*If I do not realign the IRS the outcome is the same - freeze.
I do everything the same way since I purchased the 737 in July/August last year and the same since the EFB came out and I never had this issue before the last update.
Please do report that to our support department so it can be checked out!

You reacted to a 5 months old post where a customer reported an issue that has long since been solved. The aircraft was voted the best aircraft in the latest (Navigraph) poll by thousands of actual users, so we are pretty sure it’s not really garbage.
