I haven’t seen an installation where the Community folder sits under a Packages folder, it should be under Onedrive along with the Official folder. If this is your package management location then check the actual Community folder to make sure there’s a link to the mod.

But you are right, Community, and Official should be at the same level, with the GNS530 mod dropped into Community.

I know I’ve said this like 400 times, but you’ve done an absolutely amazing job with this bad boy. You should sell the IP to MS/Asobo and let them use it in the base sim. It’s SOOOOO much better than what they built.
It did try to flip one of those “crazy ivans” on me. (That’s what I call those u-turns back to a past waypoint, or one called “usr” or “user” that it just plucked out of thin air.) But I avoided it by going into HDG mode, and then doing a Direct To the IAF, which for this particular approach is also the IF. I don’t know if that makes any difference to the logic, but it worked perfectly.
And no CTD, either. It was either one of the now disabled mods (I have my suspicions about which one), or it was a total fluke. But I’ve flown that route enough times in the past few days I feel like a professional pilot that flies the same route over and over and over again, so I’m gonna do something different for awhile.

Yes, in my post GP = Glidepath that you can get from LPV version of a RNAV approach. I was asking about the markings on the HSI that indicate the Glidepath. I did not receive those.

Very simple, pop out the gns from MSFS, move it to your GNS screen, hit alt+enter which puts it into full screen -> no more window bar!
Hello., I don’t know yet what is happening, still trying to figure out.
Below is my flight plan, and all goes well until waypoint TRAUN.
Then I noticed an issue, with message as below with waypoint UNKEN that it is not in the flight plan.
Then the plane unfollowed the path as it was looking for a missing waypoint UNKEN.
Strange. I will try to re-create. I am flying from LOWI to LOWS. Waypoint UNKEN was never included in the plan.
Can you post your full flight plan here?

Sorry for what seem a dumb question, but how does one add this GNS to a given aircraft?
You don’t add it to a plane. This mod replaces the stock GNS530 in planes that come equipped with it. You need an aircraft that uses the GNS530. Currently, there’s the steam gauge C172 from the Premium Deluxe pack, and the Mooney M20R and Piper Seminole from Carenado that use the GNS530.
There could be some other 3rd party planes that I’m not aware of that use it. But none of the planes in the base edition of MSFS have it.
Did you create the FP from scratch in the GNS530 or did you do it on the world map before flight?

You won’t regret it. It’s been a joy to fly. It’s quirky and a bit of a challenge to land, but that’s how the real thing is too.
Is this possible to assign yoke buttons (in sim or via FSUIPC) to GNS530 buttons?
This app already does this for the Bravo throttle, I’m sure the profile could be adapted for other devices.

Just curious: how many of the new features that have been added are actually over and above what a 530/430 (with all the options) can actually do IRL?
