The zoom by mouse wheel works only in the panel version of the GTN750. In the cockpit betzel this is blocked by Asobo since the wheel is used to zoom in the cockpit.
The weather radar range is from 5 to 120nm. Practically the sim provides radar data until about 80nm max.
Is that a sim limitation, or a real world one?
The weather radar is given by the sim; It is simple with no track or tilt functions.
The range is not limited but the attenuation is full at 80nm so itās not necessary to display more.
In the real life, the range depends of your equipment.
You can have a look on the RD2000 documentation if you want further information about radars.
in cockpit you can use mouse wheel for change levers position, so not only for zoom view, so may be you guys can use this, just create big spot of gtn screen for zoom map, same as for switchers, rotaries and leversā¦ in weather radar i can see weather only from 60nm distance, all before 60nm show black, i even thought weather radar broken before zoom it to 80-120nm
p.s. i think for use gtn map/weather radar zoom for integral mod, need collaboration with vehicle creators, because you guys make this for external panel, but for this work in the cockpit mod, aircraft creators have to change cockpit zones when gtn750/650 is active, same way as they do for mentioned rotaries, levers and switchers
Ok, we let you try for the mouse wheel and give us the solution for html gauges. We didnāt find it by ourself for now.
The weather radar displays rain from 0 to about 80nm depending of the rain intensity.
i add some in p.s. about integral gtn mod:) i just end user with some attention:)
about weather radar i swear - i flew overcast everywhere around, open radar and radar was black, only after zoom it start to draw weather, but only from distance more than 60nm green with light clouds orange-red with heavy-overcast respectively
The radar shows rain only, not clouds. Try it with a rainy weather or storm.
The mouse wheel events are simply not sent to the javascript code so we canāt catch them. They are probably blocked upstream by Asobo (not for the panel). The same for the touch events.
as i said in p.s. i donāt think you can do something with zoom in cockpit, but guys who create cockpits can for sure, if add same script what they use for stuff what can be moved by mouse wheel. about radar situation - i take off from rain and climb to 30000f there after i start use radar it start show weather after 60nm(green) and when i arrive there no rain was, just some light clouds, so may be i have some special weather radar lol
so looking forward to SU6 ā¦ so many improvements to the GTN750
Iāve had an issue the last two days trying to load and fly an approach. Itās the VOR15 at KSYR, and it will load the approach, (itās the next waypoint after the destination in the Flight Plan page, as you correctly mention in the documentation), but the approach waypoints arenāt loaded and the approach is not overlaid/displayed on the GPS map. Does the 750 display holds if they are a procedure turn on the approach?
I have to try it again tomorrow. Iāve been loading the flight plan I generate in SimBrief into the sim on the World Map page, and I see that you say the GTN prefers little nav map. Itās a super simple flight plan, itās KRME-KSYR, which is about 30 NM, and then the approach. So Iāll try it tomorrow just creating the flight plan in the World Map page.
The transition LYSAN is ok but not the transition SYR. The waypoint SYR is loaded but not displayed and not flown by the Sim. Now, this is a sim issue not specific to the GTN750. You have the same behavior with another GPS (tested with the TBM930). I suggest you report it to Asobo.
Holds are not implemented yet in the sim. We hope that the Working Title work about that will be reported in the sim.
Would it be possible to try the premium version for 3 days for example ?
Thanks for your answers.
Yes, weāll do that after the SU6. There will be 2 or 3 days to test the premium at a specific date (probably during a week-end).
There will be an announcement about that on our facebook page, discord and here.
Thanks. So, i will wait.
When I added an approach and a constraint mid flight, the flight plan reset to the first leg. The auto pilot (in NAV mode)then turned the plane around to go back to that leg until I went back in and selected the correct leg.
Would this be considered part of the known issue listed in the documentation?
Adding and removing waypoints is still buggy at the kernel level especially when an
approach is loaded. We have to wait for Asobo to fix that. We advise to add your enroute
waypoints before loading an approach.
which aircraft?
did you turn off the U-turn bug workaround in the GTN750 options page?
Which flight plan?
which version of the GTN750?
Carenado Piper PA-44
No, the U-Turn bug workaround is enabled.

I am trying it again and I was incorrect about it starting from the beginning. But it goes back to FWA ā CUDRU (on V340) each time.
where did you load the approach?
I just need the exact steps to reproduce the issue.
