I like to fly in the blue hour in FS2024, when the dusk lighting is soft. However, the street lights and other lights are unrealistic, being huge orbs and visible from miles away. In reality the lights are barely visible at this time of day, and certainly not from the distance they currently are.
I’d love to see the point lights smaller and dimmer. It doesn’t seem that Asobo share the same wish…
Does anyone know if it would be possible to make a mod to do this?

I have no idea but I know what you mean. If you want to see a good contrast, have a look at either X-Plane 11 or 12 at night, and see how good point light sources could look. It’s like all the lights in MSFS have excessive bloom.
A true fix or rather improvement for this would need to come from Asobo, I assume.
Exactly. I don’t think Asobo/Microsoft actually want to change aspects like this, since the game’s design philosophy seems to be beauty over realism.
