C414 is my vote. Was the only choice for me in 2023, I flew that bird all over the world.

You forced me to make a decision but I can hardly decide between the Comanche and the C414. I love them both a lot and while A2A obviously have the benefit of Accusim at hand what FSW have done to their C414 with only what the sim allows them to do is a masterpiece. It’s not only the airplane as, well, an airplane, but also how they managed to design the propeller textures so you don’t have that annoying camera effect but it looks like a real propeller. The addon is amazing and while I enjoyed their Learjet in P3D to the fullest they stepped up their game in MSFS a lot.
In the end however my vote went to the A2A Comanche since I fly it even more. Accusim is another masterpiece, a genious strike against all limitations that come with something like a sandbox game and it simply drags the whole calculation outside. I love A2A and all their products (to come 
) and therefore I voted for them…

Interesting, I didn’t know the C414 and looks very well made. Are they the first one to come up with that idea of doing external checks using EFB ?

Not sure since I don‘t buy many addons anymore. The Comanche has had it in previous sims, too, so not sure how to respond to it. I usually don‘t do it and rather quickly check the tablet menu. It‘s something for real aviation, in the sim I like to have a focus on flying it and like the risk, so to say. But FSW got the whole plane to feel very natural and real, they really got their job done amazingly well, all above considering that they only use the sim‘s config files as far as I know.

I have many addon airplanes and I really enjoy most of them like the FSW C-414, or the Milviz C-310 or the PMDG 737 etc.
However for me the choice was very easy. The A2A Piper Comanche is simply the best addon aircraft for MSFS. It got my vote mainly for the flight model, its ground handling and the completeness of the entire package. In VR it is like flying the real thing.

This poll seems to swing towards PC as at least half are not on Xbox . The Xbox community it quite large.

I don‘t know about the C414 but the Comanche for example can‘t run on XBox so that‘s natural when the sim has different capabilities
Yea probably true. For me to even know what is and isn’t on Xbox is hard. There is no real place or an easy way to know 100%.
Feel free to start your own Xbox poll in a similar way — and I’m more than happy to take the winner and include it in my charts end of year Awards thingy as the “Best Xbox Aircraft” but I don’t have the energy to manage yet another topic

The Comanche, but the 146 is looking pitifully at me - I certainly fly it more even if I can’t vote it in given the half implemented FMS. I guess it’s better having the WT one than a 530 velcro’d to the glareshield. It’d be more clear cut if A2A did a more interesting a/c than a Comanche 
at least it’s not a Cherokee.
I guess you do look at a single best-of differently to a top 10. I love the Tiger Moth but as an overall package I couldn’t really give it “best ever” - it does what it does nicely, but doesn’t do as much as the A2A product.
There are MS provided figures ( don’t ask me where right now ) that show the number of Xbox users is a small fraction of PC users. Sorry :S ( as an aside while we can’t get overall Xbox hardware sales numbers, there are estimations around that indicate there’s often more Steam users just online & visible than the entire X & S sales numbers ).

I totally get what you’re saying. I think that the Comanche is the best aircraft ever designed for MSFS, but it’s not my favorite to fly (cockpit layout and ergonomics in VR being the primary reason).
It’s the difference between the ideal woman versus the one you actually fall in love with.

Wait, all time or just 2023? Because I still have a 2020 overall favorite but do really love a lot of the latest and greatest, but still have a GOAT.
The Kodiak isn’t from this year. Car and driver 2023 car if the year, the new 2021 C7 Corvette ZR1
