Hey all. I am preparing the ‘2023 Charts Awards’ for my topic here, as I did last year: Your Current TOP 10 Aircraft

I will have a new award for “Pilots Choice” which will be taken from the winner of the Poll below. This is to give a chance of an Award to some newer releases that have not had time to creep up the main charts yet.

Unfortunately, Polls can only have 20 items, so I’ve had to make some decisions and include a few that were not mentioned yet - and there is some personal bias here, but hey!

I have taken the Top 5 mentions from every month this year and added a few more that I thought should be an option now.

If you have difficulty deciding the 20 items you could limit the selection to aircraft released this year.

It is what it is now. Can’t change the poll without wiping all votes :wink:

I might start a separate one for ONLY RELEASED THIS YEAR — and another for Freeware Only.

I argue it doesn’t really matter when they were released though, as they can get updated (or not) and still be the “best” (subjectively) regardless of how old they are.

I need time before i vote, hence i need to give a few new aircraft a chance before that, but i have a question: Is it possible to open the live poll box alone in a new tab and bookmark it? Or…not feasible? I’m asking for me, not asking you to do it for everyone.

Umm, not sure I follow. But yeah. Just copy the url, open an empty tab, paste the url and hit enter. And then bookmark that page if you want. Is that what you mean?

Top Aircraft of 2023 is Flying Iron’s Messerschmidt Bf109! It’s an incredible piece of software, the most immersive plane and best warbird in the Sim! Just saying…

Ok, I would vote for Fokker F28 by Just Flight, so voted for their Avro Vulcan instead. That’s the second best aircraft released this year :wink:

Good idea to make a freeware category and let these brave souls feel the love from the community. Perhaps stand-alone aircraft and mods to existing?

Question is should it also include aircraft you get with the base game (technically free, but not freeWARE)?

Missed that sorry. Kind of would have made sense to just get users to post 1. As now the poll items may influence some. (I nearly picked one from the poll as I was passing).
