Today: Dresden. Once again I took the Eurocopter out to explore the city. I started at Elbland Hospital Meien (ED8IF) & followed the Elbe to the city center:
The docks to the west of the city look good:
and this high level of detail continues as we approach the Marien bridge, though the building next to the Kuppel restaurant on Weisserit str. has a green frontage:
this green tinge is present on quite a few of the buildings in the city center:
The ground imagery is crisp. I use rail lines as an indicator - if I can distinguish the rails and ties, I consider the image to be excellent. This is the Dresden Hauptbahnhof:
Apart from the green tinge, buildings look realistic. Tin Trees are noticeable, but not too distracting:

Overall, performance was fine, and with the exception of the green-tinge buildings, I’d say that on my PC & settings, this was an excellent rendition of Dresden & the surrounding area.
