I was initially going to post it in that thread, but the community managers made it pretty clear to refrain for giving marketplace feedback in it. So I figured this thread would fit better
Oh, most of us have done exactly that. There are even video links on how bad it is. Give it a try just with pointing out the things you see without any criticism. That should work.
Interesting. Examples like that make me wonder if those are âjustâ fake reviews (which would already be pretty bad in itself) or if the whole system is completely broken.
There must be a flaw somewhere in the review system.
Donât forget, if they buy it themselves, they get most of their money back. So they could create a bunch of bot users that buy it and give reviews. And the money they donât go back gets accounted for in their âadvertisingâ budget, or even just as a loss on their taxes.
Can we please have the filter in the MP for the â2024 onlyâ products back. Itâs a pain having to open them all to see whether they are 2024 exclusive.
IF all platforms are represented - why have a tick box that says âAll Platformsâ? They are all there already???
We cannot exclude the platform we want to?
I think by default 2024 native addons are shown only. âAll Platformsâ will then include 2020 addons.
I want them to give us the choice for exclusive to 2024, not the ones that are ported from 2020.
I want these only
Thatâs what yousee by default, if Iâm not mistaken.
see above edit
I certainly see 2024 âcompatibleâ aircraft when I look in the Marketplace with no filters.
Can you give an example?
Iâm not at my FS computer, but, for instance, the Aeroplane Heaven B-25. Itâs a 2020 model, 2024 compatible. Itâs for sale in the 2024 Marketplace and visible with no filters, the default view. I donât have my spreadsheet handy, but a high percentage of the Microsoft aircraft delivered with 2024 were 2024 compatible 2020 Native models, too. Heck, some even werenât compatible, lol!
Iâm pretty sure what heâs asking for is a filter for 2024 Native aircraft. Maybe Iâm wrong, but thatâs how I interpreted the request.
To your point, all of the aircraft in the 2024 Marketplace should be marked as âWorks in 2024â.
Thereâs certainly confusion in the post, as no aircraft are âported to 2024 from 2020â. Theyâre either 2024 native or 2020 native aircraft. Most 2020 aircraft work fine in 2024 at this point.
(Not to mention I hate the whole âportedâ word).
And then again, if I read it again, just because it says âCompatible with 2024â in the second picture, doesnât necessarily mean itâs a 2020 Native aircraft. 2024 Native aircraft are certainly compatible with 2024. But Iâd have to check that out.
Hi, could you please bring the new update of PMDG DC6 for MSFS 24 Marketplace faster then the announced 2 weeks? Or why takes it that much time?
Hello @kbA7187,
When a developer submits a new or updated product to the Marketplace, the Microsoft team is responsible for processing the initial product ingestion. This is typically completed within a few business days after submission, but in some cases ingestion can occur as quickly as the same day.
After intake is complete, it is then the responsibility of the productâs developer (e.g. PMDG in your example) to complete testing of their product on all platforms for which they intend to release it. The developer must then either sign-off that testing is complete and the product is ready to release OR if they identify any issues that they need to resolve, they must create a new version and re-submit it for initial intake.
Once a developer has signed off that testing is complete and their product is ready, the Microsoft Marketplace team will release it with the next batch of MP releases. This typically occurs twice weekly, every Monday and Thursday.
Thanks,
MSFS Team
Why does the Marketplace taunt us?
In the main menu the icon for Marketplace is a plane we cannot buy.
Hello @PirateAntz,
Can you provide more information about this? What is the plane, and on what platform are you playing?
Thanks,
MSFS Team
The icon for the Marketplace is the An-225 - which I guess technically can be bought in the Marketplace via an upgrade to the Aviator Edition, but I definitely see their point.
Exactly correct.
I should add that the solution I would like is not for the icon to be changed, I love seeing that beast every time I start the sim. The solution I would like would be to sell the plane. In the Marketplace.
AN-2 and ATR are out now
