In VR, when the camera is outside the plane I like the added HUD display, but it appears inside the cockpit too and covers the instruments.
You can get rid of that overlay in Options/general/flight interface/HUD in cockpit view.
Just uncheck it, and you’ll be rid of that issue!

Microsobo, I have to give you credit—night flights are now truly night flights! Excellent work on that. Kudos. Performance-wise, there’s a noticeable improvement for my 3080 10GB card. I’ve experienced a few stutters here and there, but I suspect that’s because I cleared out the old cache and did a full reinstall of both the sim and all my associated third-party addons.
I just started my first SU4 flight in the TBM 850, flying from KSLC to KMMH. For a night flight, this part of the U.S. landscape is a great way to see how much the sepia mask has been improved.
It’s in the marketplace description but the short version is probably nothing unless you are using the PFD screens independently of each other. When I looked at it I chose not to install it because I didn’t think I would ever use it.
Series X here, It was a pleasure to finally be able to fly the PC24 again, thank you for fixing the throttles! SU4 seems cleaner and smoother. Multiplayer was pretty smooth but rendering other simmers is still off a little. Weather seemed a better. Flight dynamics seemed a bit cleaner as well. Great job and thank you for the work put into this update. Maybe add a gravity model for future avatar shenanigans. (Snowboarding in the alps)
EDIT:
This is no longer an issue. Latest updates have corrected this.
Beechcraft Baron G58 update will not install update (locally).
Pic 1 no issues with download.
Pic 2 nothing happens after selecting install, the normal install count down 0-100% is not shown.
G58 is listed in initial release batch, perhaps an error?
Edit:
Pic 3 Found this in the More Options.
Hi guys, could you please fix the 737 max 8 dome light?? It wasn’t buggy anymore, but now as soon as you turn on the right engine it becomes forever ON, flying at night is terrible…
In career mode, prices of planes are changed, which is very frustrating. I was stacking Citation CJ4s so that I sell them later on to buy a large airliner, now my fleet’s value is down. CJ4s were 23M credits and now are 8M.
I guess I am gonna stop grinding and paying for the game.
CTD on approach during my first flight with Saab 340. Nice way to start my SU4 experience.
CTD or freeze at Career Mode again. After climbing on vip charter.Always!
At the first View…incredible update on Xbox Series X. No stuttering while scrolling trough Menue. No stuttering while flying over Jurassic Park Archipels Addon. It was nearly unplayable prior to the update.
Straight into career mode went to buy the A330, CTD when chosing variants
It’s feels good to be back on a retail build
Still on 1.6.31.0 (beta) as of 7am (GMT) this morning UK time.
the same here
fortunately, .31 and .32 are completely the same, with all current new functionality
Yeah I know. I just want to get updated then leave the beta. Without having to do a complete re-install.
I would like to commend the developers for their work, my first impressions on Sim Update 4 are very positive. This is the first update after which the game feels tangibly better on Xbox Series X. The UI is faster and more responsive, loading times seem shorter, and several bugs that have been affecting me have been fixed. The experience as a whole feels more cohesive and polished.
There is still a medium and a severe issue and I’d like to use this opportunity to highlight them again. The Center Dot functionality still can’t be disabled, and the more severe issue on Xbox, and for controller players on every console, is that the AI Pilot still intervenes when Cursor Mode is engaged. After more than a year of trying to highlight these issues, I cannot overstate how much these (especially the latter) affect and degrade the flight experience.
That said, Sim Update 4 does feel like a big step in the right direction. I’m sure there are still many issues remaining and I hope the teams continue working on fixes, but I feel this is the state the simulator should’ve been released in. If it was called MSFS 2025 and released just now, the overall sentiment would’ve been much more positive from the get-go.
I’m looking forward to future Sim Updates and bug fixes! I feel we can now call “positive climb”, but we’re not fully clear of the terrain just yet.
I’ve disabled my antivirus, moved the community folder, cleared the cache, rebooted my computer, deleted shaders, and done everything I could… 97%…

this bug reported from the first beta version was also not fixed despite the bug being logged.
