Pop-out panel - could we also get overhead panel as pop out?

Hi
Can I kindly ask if you would consider to add the overhead panel as a pop-out panel?
This would make it possible to have a multi monitor setup were an additional monitor on top could display one of the panels that requires a lot of inter action and it would be possible to do so without changing your view. As it is right now there is no way to use the “multi panel” view in the experimental section to show the overhead panel on a separate monitor. If I am wrong then please enlighten me…
The idea of having a touch panel so that you could easily interact with required switches and buttons is appealing to me and hopefully also to others.
Hope you will consider this and in general also think more about all the “semi” home cockpit builders that exist out there…
Thanks

While this would be nice, there are a few drawbacks as you’ve eluded to.

The main being MSFS does not support touch screen interaction, so at this point in time you’d still have to mouse over to it.

We currently work around this limitation by using MSFS Pop out Panel Manager (POPM) to be able to interact with the touch screen devices we pop out such as the Garmin 3000, 750, etc… So in theory if the overhead was a “pop out” you could enable touch by using POPM.

As for your direct point to the overhead, there are options depending on Aircraft.

AviaWorx offers an overhead for the PMDG 737 and 777

Another option is Air Manager which utilizes custom built instruments (including overheads).

I get this is not your ask and I am not trying to de-rail from it, I think it’s a great ask.

Just letting you know of some in the meantime options incase you were not aware.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. I am sorry if I was misleading. The touch screen would be nice but I am mostly interested in getting the actual panel to be displayed on a monitor by itself.
So, with or without touch make not that much difference. I just want to have a monitor on top of my 3 row monitor displaying overhead panels. Easier to quickly see what is the state of all switches and not be jumping between different camera point of views.
Hope that makes sense.
Thx
