Pop out windows cause huge FPS decrease

I have done a search but have not seen any decent solutions for this issue.
What would cause or is causing the issue when you pop out a window to another screen it causes between 7fps and 50% decrease in frame rate. IF I pop out a settings windows such as weather or camera it decreases by 5-7fps. Others in discord have tried the same thing with the same results. If you use an external app with sim connect no such fps hit is noticed (vfrmap or flight companion).

Do you have any add-ons in your Community folder? If yes, please remove and retest before posting.

Popping windows out to another monitor causes massive FPS decreases. The more windows the more FPS decrease

Sit with no windows open (ATC camera etc etc PFD/MFD) then pop windows to a different montior.

Intel 7700 with GTX1070, 32gb ram

Not yet, want to see if a solution is there or others face the same issue.

The cause is the UI is a badly optimized mess, and the solution is for Asobo’s developers to go in there and clean it up.

At least part of the problem is the GPU is needlessly redrawing these pop out windows on the same loop as the main 3D window, but there’s probably other issues under the hood we can only guess at.

Anyway, let’s vote up one thread instead of splitting the votes between multiple threads.
