Sure it is but the POPM solution is the best workaround for now so the point is either use and enjoy it or put up with the sim as is and wait for if or when it gets supported natively.

I can’t help those that want an instant solution and won’t take the time to learn how the software works. It’s not hard to learn and understand with a little investment of time. I’ve been using it since pretty much the first version and alerted the community to the touch screen workaround it provides so I’m a big advocate for what it brings to many users simming experience. I’ve already agreed it’s only there because the core sim is so lacking in the areas covered by POPM. You can either embrace and use it or put up with the sims shortcomings. That is each individuals choice.

+1 for POPM. It’s got a learning curve but it’s a shallow one. I could not even consider manually moving pop-outs around every single time. If you only ever put them in one place and one size per avionics set-up, then the sim remembering where they were last time may get you what you want but you’ll never get touch support any other way. Not unless they added it in for 2024, that is… worth someone asking that for the Q&A I guess.

Someone asked about touch for pop-outs in the Q&A and the usual look of confusion descended as if it had never occurred to anyone that touch for, you know, real-world touch instruments might be a desirable thing, followed by ‘don’t know, I’ll have to ask’ which I’m pretty sure has been given as an answer to this more than once before.
So POPM (assuming it can be updated for MSFS2024, which, given what I know about how it works, I assume it can) will be the only game in town still.

Yeah. Any professional knows when you have a meeting or a telecom when things like this are being discussed you take an action if you don’t have the immediate answer. If it’s well run you are responsible for providing a proper response to that action either at the next session if that’s planned or as a follow up. It’s convenient to just brush off some of these questions with I’ll check and then we never hear again until the question finally gets raised again at some much later date. I’d like to see them actually review and discuss the wishlist items because as far as I’m concerned I’ve no idea where things are with any of them.
