Brief description of the issue:
Coming in to land at Port Morseby Runway 32 assigned. at 2000 ft. the aircraft was on approach SIDEWAYS. turned 90 degrees to runway. and could not land. Climbed to 2000 feet. and all was calm. tried to descend back to land on respriprocal. but could not control the aircraft and drilled a hole into the ground . Current weather and date
