This what it looks like
This is pretty much exactly what Iām looking for but I havenāt seen that flat top. Iām sure Google can help, but would you have a direct link Tk the products you are using? Thank you! @smug1234n
That would be great except I have a decorative edge on my desk that that wonāt attach to, by the looks of it. Looks good for what it is, though!
Very similar to what I have going on. I just have more gear attached to mine.
I didnāt buy here but this should give you needed info for game top on stand
I have rudder pedals on order to complete my setup
I use an iPad and AirManager to set on top of my yoke for additional instruments
Both HC Alpha and Bravo switches fed through VJ Gremlin to VJoy to sim for fault free usage
Thanks! I have located it on their website and it looks sufficient for purpose should I go that route.
Do you have the gaming desktop perma-fastened to your stand, or do you take it on and off?
It doesnāt look like this item is in stock so I may be left with the shelving solution. Unless i want to wait until Aprilā¦
Note as well the small box mounted on right top side of yoke is a Class Echo controller
Itās a DIY add on that eliminates the need for almost all mouse and keyboard usage by controlling almost all msfs2020 functions ie nav, com freq, gps, autopilot, gear, parking brakes etc
I did not think or expect MSFS would need so much add on software for trouble free peripherals however, it does So a little patience and effort goes a long way but does yield success. Enough said This space is for mounting the peripherals
Using the stand means it can be moved and even collapsed
Removal of yoke and throttle takes minutes because of mounting clamps
I leave the table on the stand as it bolts on
Note that the stand and table are super solid so you can fly without any mechanical instability, unlike many of the single post type platforms
I will take a look at it. I have noticed a lot of multi button controllers being adapted for use. First and foremost, gotta mount the controls, but I do appreciate the insight and will look into it!
Good to know re: stand. The shelving solution does allow the controls to stay affixed to the board when moving, but the clamps and swivel wheels are also very easy.
Reports on Amazon are less than stellar, but I donāt think many of the reviewers are using it as intended, and some of the reviews are for an entirely different product.
Out of stock everywhere.
Looks great! So the only diff would be the shelving vs the metal plate as youāre both using the racing stand it seems.
How are you fastening the shelf to the stand? Drilling bolts? Due to availability, this may be the best solution. Cheers!
Like I said, my previous shelf was screwed on via the holes on the under side of the platform to mount the joke on. Since Iām still arranging this setup, itās being held on currently by the Honeycomb clamps.
Did you have to add to or replace your clamps or did the clamps fit over the shelf and stand without issue? I see the front side of the clamps on your photo, but unsure of how/where on the stand theyāre mounting. Seems to be a heavy weight to hold - is it held on by anything other than the two clamps, maybe in the rear? Excited to see if this is an easy solution!
The other side of the clamps press against the underside of the metal plate intended to hold the yoke / wheel. That pressure holds the shelf on. Like I said, I will screw it on from the underside once I get my final configuration. This holds surprisingly well, but Iād prefer secure it with screws as well as having the Honeycomb clamps for the long haul. This is just temporary.
I purchased a 24x12ā shelf from Home Depot and bought a pair of deep throated F clamps. I have the clamps on the top of the shelf and the bottom of the desk.
Now, I am using the suction cup on the shelf. I may need a longer shelf, but this is a great temporary solution that is easy to put on and take off. Considering screwing it down vs the suction, but will wait and see.
Does it fold up well with the desktop, yoke, and throttle connected? Iām thinking about trying a setup like this, but one of my goals is to stop having to unscrew the Honeycomb clamps every time I want to setup or teardown the cockpit.
I have looked at the lowrider here:

And they want over $200 shipping to australia, does anyone know of another supplier that ships to australia ?
Check out Wheel Stand Pro. I have BOTH my Honeycomb yoke and throttle on steel panels sitting on adjustable T Poles, with my. Rudder pedals strapped to the base with included large rubber 3 inch bands. About $250 and worth it - very solid, doesnāt move during yoke pull/push and easy to store quickly. Highly recommended.
