Possible to add alpha during re-texturing?

Hi there!

Is it possible to add transparency/alpha to an already textured model (aka repaint)?

I tried exporting an alpha channel into an dds, but no transparency was rendered in-sim.

Has the alpha channel to be specified during creating the model itself and mapping it?

Alpha uses a specific blending mode in the material properties, so a mod to the glTF is required (texture alone are not enough)
