C-47 41-38390 “7-10 Split.”


7-10 Split” departing RAF Barkston Heath (Station 484) just after midnight, 6 June 1944. Another heavily-laden C-47 is only ten seconds behind her.


7-10 Split” returning to Barkston Heath after dropping paratroops of the 82nd Airborne Division near Sainte-Mère-Église on 6 June 1944.
