Yes I know this has been posted before but there appears to be inconsitency or other issues with some peoples installations.
Would be great if anyone with the exact following scenario could contribute here:
- Purchased Deluxe or Premium Deluxe edition on Steam
- Succesfully installed the game at or after the official release for your region (no shannanigans)
- Did NOT experience any other issues with the installation, a.k.a. Smooth Installation
- Started game and everything works as expected EXCEPT THAT
- Deluxe or Premium Deluxe content is missing and the “Content Manager” only shows 90 items, so no deluxe/premium content can be installed.
If this is your situation welcome to the club.
I’ve already tried to contact MSFS Support and my ticket was auto fllaged as “Solved” and I was directed to Steam Support.
I’ve checked with Steam Support and Steam redirects me to MSFS Support as, and I quote:
“Unfortunately, Microsoft Flight Simulator does not utilize Steam to manage its items. You will need to contact their Support Team for any questions about your items in that game.”
I’ve already tried loggin in an out multiple times, entering and exiting the content manager, starting and stopping the game multiple times. NOTHING seems to work. Where is my Premium Deluxe content?
Typical launch day issues aside, I want what I paid for!
Discuss. And please say something if you’ve found a definive work around.

My Steam version is currently downloading after I spent two hours trying to get past the KFSO loading screen which got stuck. In the end I uninstalled the game from Steam and restarted. This time its downloading. It will take a while.
Have ordered the Premium version so will let you know if I get that content later.
Installation went smoothly.. No issues at all except for missing premium deluxe content. Also 90 items on content manager. tried everything myself.
Same issue on Steam. Only standard installed, no premium deluxe content that I purchased. Steam is showing 100 minutes even though I have flown an inch yet. I can’t believe they count the download and install time as game time. Plus Steam offers 0 support. Will refund if a solution is not found soon.

Welcome HYDROKSYPROPYL, there is a check for missing files on Steam. If you right click on game select properties then click repair or check files, try that?

Have you updated your ticket with Microsoft Support to inform them of Steam’s reply?
Tried the Verify Files option in Steam, but it just said all was fine with no errors.

Same deal, in-game marketplace doesn’t even show that I have the Premium Deluxe added to my account.

Same issue premium with standard content, steam download defaulted to 93 GB(standard) vs 120G(premium). How long before steam backend catches up and pushes my extra content?
